Those wishing to see more are free to explore the locomotives and other railway relics positioned all over the open-air museum, among them the dining car from the Orient Express dating back to 1912. There is a direct railway connection to the park from Budapest's Nyugati (Western) Station and the 20-minute journey in a restored carriage sets the scene for an unforgettable evening of nostalgia.

More than 100,000 works of art are held at the museum from the renaissance period right up to the 20th century.
