CELEBRATING 200 YEARS – CONTACT INCENTIVES LISZT SPECIALS
The Franz Liszt year is under way. Budapest and the entire Danube republic are celebrating the 200th birthday of the great composer with scores of concerts and events. The highlight of the events taking place throughout the year will undoubtedly be the World Liszt Day to be held on October 22. On this date, Liszt's Christus Oratorio will be performed simultaneously in Budapest, the Hungarian cities of Eger and Györ, and in Paris, London, Seoul and Beijing. The organisation responsible for the planning and coordination of Liszt Year 2011 is Klassz Music Office, who have structured the bewildering number of commemorative concerts, events and exhibitions under the following five categories:
